The Microsoft Windows operating system is the heart of every personal computer. Without it the PC would not be able to run application software such as Microsoft Office. Microsoft Windows 95 and Windows 98 have achieved enormous popularity in home and office use, but to get the most from a PC you must know how to use it effectively. The operating system interacts closely with software applications for the provision of services such as file and data management and networking. Our courses (you get two on one CD) should be considered pre-requisites for all other courses in the range. The course is also suitable for users of Windows Me, since it is essentially Windows 98 with a few improvements.

This course assumes no prior knowledge of the Windows operating system. It has been designed for all staff who use a personal computer, ragrdless of their role. It explains how to launch applications, use Windows applications, manage files, print documents, and manage and customise your system. Many experienced but self-taught users may be surprised at the amount of Windows functionality of which they were previously unaware.
